THINK.MAKE.SHARE. PATTERNED DIGITAL WALLPAPERS

THINK.MAKE.SHARE is a Hallmark blog that features crafts, ideas and peek into the creative studios. For Valentine’s Day and Black History month I created digital wallpapers.
I used linocut techniques to give a textured nod to afrocentric patterns, and wanted to add a hand of the artist feel to the basic Valentine’s Day iconography. The writing leans toward gentle empowerment statements and themes that have resonated with African American consumers.
